Turkish opposition presents evidence of Erdogan's family involvement in offshore
The leader of the Republican People's opposition Party of Turkey Kemal Kilicdaroglu presented documents showing transfers of millions of dollars to offshore zones on behalf of family members of the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the meeting of his party faction in the parliament.
According to Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet, after the publication of these documents Kilicdaroglu appealed to Erdogan with the following words:
“If you are a man of the word, resign.”
Later, the lawyer of the President of Turkey stated that the leader of the Republican People's Party showed falsified documents.
A few days ago Kilicdaroglu stated that Erdogan advises everyone to exchange available dollars for Turkish lira for the benefit of the country, while his relatives transfer millions of dollars to offshore zones.
In turn, Erdogan stated that if Kilicdaroglu comes up with the relevant proofs, he will resign.
