Turkey court sentences 6 journalists to life in jail
A Turkish court on Friday sentenced six journalists to life imprisonment for aiding plotters of a 2016 failed coup. Mehmet Altan, and his brother Ahmet, were accused of giving coded messages on a television talk show a day before the coup attempt, Reuters reported. All six denied the charges. Mehmet and Ahmet Altans have numerous publications about the need to recognize the Armenian Genocide.

Azerbaijani side violates ceasefire 250 times past week
